First of all, please do NOT come into The Restaurant at 9:30, when we clearly close at 10. And then continue to chat it up at my table. I am trying to close my tables and get them clean for the next day. When I ask you how everything is, if you need anything else... PLEASE ANSWER ME! Don't leave me sitting there like a damn fool wondering if your food tastes okay, or you need some butter for your damn rolls. Second of all, please do not come in at 9:30, stay until after 10pm and leave my a lousy $2 tip. These older folk (3 of them) from last night stayed until after 10 and left me $2. I would have been happier with NOTHING! Assholes. Third of all, if you can't speak English, at least to the point where I can understand you, sit at someone elses table who wants to try and decipher WTF you are trying to tell me. I will be working with these asshole people ALL weekend, sorry family, I won't be seeing anyone over memorial day weekend. Boo! :(

How can people be so mean?!
Last night was my last day of training at "The Restaurant", but it was also my first night basically doing everything by myself with little assistance from my trainer. There is a ton of stuff that you have to remember as a server, drinks, appetizers, food, get more drinks, bring them their food, dessert, make sure you ID them if they order alcohol and so on and so forth. So ya, sure I made some mistakes, its human! But this bitch very nice and understanding trainer that I had last night ruined my entire night and it going to ruin today too because she never shut her damn mouth. I heard her voice in my head ALL NIGHT LONG. I didn't sleep for crap! I kept thinking that I needed to get this person a salad or this person a drink. But this wasn't even what pissed me off the most... I just couldn't wrap my head around how rude she was to me and the other servers. I guess I am not supposed to speak for myself, and let another server know that they could use the computer, and I interrupted her, "Don't do that again, I don't like that". "You know better than that", to a server who set some glasses down for 1.5 seconds.
"Don't do that" |
After last night I was seriously seriously debating not going back because she made my night so horrible! I guess that is the end of my rant for now. I start serving alone on Friday, so I guess we will see how that goes. Hopefully a hell of a lot better than last night went. Wish me luck...

Life
This would be me. This picture was from my senior year of high school, but you get the idea.
The boyfriend (Matt) and myself. This was from our recent trip to Miami. We have been dating for just about a year (June 5).
Chloe. The fat one as I call her. She weighs about 13lbs. She will only sleep under the blanket at night, she is spoiled.
Hemi. He is the little baby in the house. But don't let this innocent picture fool you, he is a sneak. Roxy (who you will meet next) work together as a team to destroy little things in the house while I am at work. Yesterday it was the tin foil. Hemi knocked it on the floor and Roxy chewed it to shreds. BRATS!
Roxy. She is a Cocker Spaniel. She is generally a very good dog, except when Hemi tries to eat her food or comes to close to anything she wants. She likes things her way or no way.
This is what I will leave you with today. This is everyone living in my tiny 800sqft house. Nothing to rant or vent about yet, but I am 100% sure once I start serving at "The Restaurant" I will have plenty of shit and customers to complain about. TTFN :)
